Pink Zero Packaging Bamboo Toothbrush Plant Based Bristles
It is recommended, based on advice from dentists, that you replace your toothbrush every 3 months (although the Truthbrush lasts much longer).
After use, please don’t leave standing in water.
To dispose of your toothbrush, please place in your ordinary bin. Over time, all but the bristles will biodegrade, leaving no residue.
Alternatively, you can pull out the bristles with a pair of pliers and re-use the Truthbrush in any creative way you can. Plant canes and paint stirrers are just a couple of examples of how you can give your Truthbrush a second life.
The handle is made from sustainable organic bamboo. Truthbrush use Moso bamboo, a type of bamboo which is inedible to pandas. The bamboo comes from an FSC managed sustainable forest in China.
Bamboo is also resistant to natural pests, which means it is farmed organically.
Bamboo is the perfect material for the Truthbrush as it is beautiful to look at, warm to touch and fully biodegradable. The natural antibacterial and antifungal properties of bamboo mean the Truthbrush is hygienic too.
With regard to the bristles, at the moment they are 62% castor oil and 38% nylon as the only other real plastic free alternative is boar bristles (pig hair) which is not vegan. However, Truthbrush are constantly searching for a 100% plastic free and vegan alternative.
This toothbrush unlike the others that I stock, comes with no cardboard packaging at all.
Truthbrush is run by Catherine and Catherine in Devon. They believe that beautiful things can also be eco-friendly.
After combining their expertise as a hospital surgeon and a fashion buyer, they designed the Truthbrush to look beautiful as well as being a great toothbrush.
