Travel Soap Box - HYDROPHIL
Made from stainless steel with cardboard packaging.
Size: 110 × 88 × 32.5 mm
How it's made:
Firstly, the sheet is cut into the required sheet formats and then coated on both sides. After drying, the sheets are used to make lids and hulls. The waste is completely used in the recycling process. All suppliers must be able to provide the current BRC and DIN ISO certificates as well as food suitability.
In addition, all employees are paid according to the current tariff. No other raw material has such a high recycling rate as tinplate (92-95%). Recycling hardly pollutes any water. Tinplate can be recycled as often as required without loss of quality.
HYDROPHIL was founded in 2013 by three friends Christoph, Sebastian & Wanja. They are a great company based in Hamburg, Germany. Their products are all water neutral, vegan, cruelty free and fair.
A look at our globe suggests that water is an infinite commodity: At least two thirds of our earth are covered with water. However, only 3% of this is fresh water and therefore drinkable. The resource water is therefore very limited. The consequences of this scarcity of resources are as fatal as they are unbelievable: 2.1 billion of our fellow human beings worldwide have no access to clean drinking water. These are the facts that prompted HYDROPHIL to pay special attention to the issue of water scarcity.
HYDROPHIL creates innovative and sustainable hygiene products. Products that should serve to broaden the view for topics such as sustainability and scarcity of resources. They want to achieve beautiful things with beautiful things. Their common vision is to produce a sustainable full range for the bathroom that is water-neutral, vegan & fair.
They also donate 10% of their profits to the non-profit association Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V., which is committed to providing access to clean drinking water for people in countries of the global South.
