Recycled Toilet Paper Trial Roll - Who Gives A Crap
Simply flush the paper down the toilet after use and it will naturally biodegrade.
This toilet paper is also great for alternative toilets, including composting, and sensitive systems like septic tanks! It has been tested for disintegration and “flushability”, and will not cause any adverse effects from normal use (unless you put a whole roll down at once!)
If you have a particularly sensitive septic system, then please ask your manufacturer whether any restrictions apply.
Made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste paper (like textbooks, workbooks and office paper). The wrappers on the toilet rolls are also recyclable and can be composted.
Who Gives a Crap are an Australian company who have chosen to manufacture their product in China. This gives them access to a large pool of local post-consumer waste paper, which is not readily available in Australia. The toilet paper is then sea freighted (not flown!) in containers of stock into the south of England and distributed from there.
Who Gives A Crap was launched in Australia by Simon, Jehan and Danny with a crowdfunding campaign. Simon sat on a toilet in our draughty warehouse and refused to move until they had raised enough pre-orders to start production. 50 hours and one cold bottom later, they had raised over $50,000.
They decided to start the company after finding out that 2.3 billion people across the world don't have access to a toilet and that means that around 289,000 children under five die every year from diarrhoeal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation.
Who Gives A Crap donate 50% of their profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world.
