Raw Halo was founded by chocolate lover Meg. The idea started as a simple wish: she wanted to pick up a chocolate bar, count the ingredients on one hand, understand all of them, and for the chocolate to taste delicious. After not being able to find anything on the market she decided to make her own.
In 2014, Meg started Raw Halo, making organic raw chocolate from ethically-sourced, plant-based ingredients, with shine, snap and smoothness in every bite.
Meg started producing small batches from my home kitchen, delivering bars by hand to local, organic stores. The business quickly proved to be a winner, and she soon needed an extra pair of hands. Meg's partner, Jonathan joined the team and together they now run Raw Halo.
Almost five years on, you can find Raw Halo in your favourite shops in the UK and overseas.
Ethically Sourced: Raw Halo source their ingredients from small, organic farms that trade their produce for a fair price and treat their communities well.
Ethically Made: They produce the chocolate in partnership with a social enterprise chocolate factory, a company that helps people reach their full potential.
Ethically Minded: In partnership with One Tree Planted, Raw Halo plant a tree for every fifty bars they sell. Their packaging is 100% plastic-free, sustainable and recyclable.
