Vegan Mascara Cake (10ml) - Bain & Savon
Please note that this product may take a bit of practice and getting used to, as with many natural products, they are slightly different to "normal" products and often take a bit more time.
Ensure you have a clean mascara wand.
Moisten the mascara brush. The key is to get the right amount of water on your brush - too much and the mascara will not stick to your lashes, too little and the mascara will not mix.
Please do not add water to the mascara cake itself (as it is oil based).
Roll the brush back and forwards along the cake and apply to your lashes.
Apply as many coats as required for your preferred look (let the mascara dry out in between coats).
The cake does not come with a mascara wand (save one from an old tube of mascara to re-use, just clean it beforehand).
This cake also works with a lash curler before applying and after it works well both ways.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.
Like all mascaras, it is important that you use this homemade mascara wisely. Proper use of mascara includes disposal of the tin. Homemade mascara should also be disposed of if found to smell different, strange, or especially pungent. It is unlikely and unusual, but all mascaras do have the capability to grow bacteria.
