Delivery & Returns
Covid 19 Update:
Please note that all of our orders are dispatched by us very quickly (normally the same day or next working day). However, Royal Mail & other postal services have all experienced some delivery delays in areas over the last year (& do continue to experience these) due to Covid 19. We sincerely apologise if you do experience a slight delay in your post arriving due to this.
We only dispatch orders on week days (not including bank holidays) so if you order on a Friday or Saturday, your order will be dispatched on the Monday.
As we are not an online marketplace, (we are an online store), we hold stock in all the items that we sell through our website. Therefore, we are able to send your items to you in one package and one delivery slot, rather than multiple packages, this obviously cuts down on delivery fuel emissions.
STANDARD UK DELIVERY:
(These times are not guaranteed)
Royal Mail 2nd Class Delivery (2-3 days from dispatch*) = £3.00 (some RM orders are arriving slightly later due to Covid 19 delays).
Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery (1-2 days from dispatch*) = £3.95 (some RM orders are arriving slightly later due to Covid 19 delays).
*delivery times are from dispatch. Dispatch is normally the same working day or the next working day.
*Please note if your order is heavy and ends up weighing over 2kg it may be sent via My Hermes rather than Royal Mail (which can take up to 3-5 working days from dispatch).
FREE PICK UP (local customers):
You can also collect your order from us for free at a mutually convenient time. Free Collection is from Stanford Le Hope, Essex (SS17).
To do this, simply select the local pick up option at checkout and you will not be charged for delivery.
Delivery to the EU is unfortunately temporarily postponed at the moment due to Brexit. We hope to resume this soon.
We do not currently offer international delivery and encourage customers to if possible find a plastic free vegan shop more nearby to them as this will be more environmentally friendly.
PRE ORDER ITEMS:
Some items are marked as pre-order items (it will say in the product description). If you purchase a pre-order item then please note that your entire order will only be dispatched when the item has arrived and is in stock. If you would like your other items earlier then please make two separate orders.
If you are unhappy with any of your products once they arrive then please send me a message directly (within 3 working days of the item arriving) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like to return an item, then it must be returned within 14 days, the products should be completely unopened and in the original packaging that they were sent out in. Please make sure that you send the item/s back to me tracked (you will need to cover the postage costs) and please do keep your receipt for this in case it is lost. I do not take any responsibility for items that are lost in the post, you will need to take this up with your courier.
Once the item has arrived back to me and been checked over to make sure I can resell it, you will be issued with a full refund (not including any delivery costs).
Unfortunately, there are some items that I cannot issue a refund on as follows:
- Gift cards and also any toiletries including toothbrushes / toothbrush heads, food products, sanitary products, make up or skincare (as this cannot be resold once sent out for hygiene reasons).
If an item arrives damaged or is faulty then please contact me within 3 days of the order arriving. You can message me directly at: email@example.com and send me details of the damage/fault with clear photos. I will come back to you as soon as possible to help.
If your parcel goes missing and does not arrive, then please check all of the following:
- that you entered the correct delivery address at check out.
- that it has not been delivered to a neighbour when you were out.
- that I haven't emailed you about the order.
If you still cannot get to the bottom of it, then please email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will look into it for you.
Please note that we cannot issue a refund until 10 days after the post was due to arrive (as Royal Mail does not class post as missing until this point).
We hope that you will love our products and enjoy using them. However, some people have sensitive skin and may have an allergic reaction. At The Earth Shop, we are not responsible for any reaction as this is due to the individuals skin and their personal sensitivities. We have listed all the product ingredients on our product pages (see Ingredients tab) please ensure that you read these carefully before using a product.
We would recommend that you always do a patch test 24 hours before trying any of our skincare or cosmetic products. If you do have an allergic reaction then please stop using the product immediately and seek medical advice if required.
